I’m preaching this Sunday on THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT

This is PART SEVEN

I am greatly blessed to share this “Project” with you. THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT is one that God has laid upon my heart. And now, through the work of the Holy Spirit I am able to share it with you through text, and audio files. THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT is based upon the words of Jesus Christ found in Matthew 7:24 - 27 and John 20:31.

In Matthew 7:24 Jesus says, “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (NKJV) For “these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” (John 20:31 – NKJV)

Last week, I said that building a successful and prosperous Smart-House includes, but is not limited to, using the right tools. And we started talking about the “HAND TOOLS”. Once again, THE HAND TOOLS ARE WHAT YOU USE IN WHAT YOU DO (and are doing) FOR GOD! Last week, I spoke about the “SAW of FORGIVENESS”, based upon Colossians 2:6-12; the “MEASURING TAPE FOR JUSTIFICATION”, based upon Romans 5:1-2; and the “SCREWDRIVER OF FAITH”, based upon Hebrews 11:6. And now for the next hand tool you will need to have in your “spiritual toolbox”.

THE FOURTH HAND TOOL is A PAIR OF CHANNEL LOCKS. The channel locks will represent love; GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for us (John 3:16; & 1 John 5:10 & 13). "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). God's promise of everlasting life can be trusted because according to Romans 8:38-39; John 10:28-29 there is nothing in this world that can separate God’s love from one who places their faith in Jesus Christ.

One might ask why channel locks instead of the usual pair of pliers? It is simply because some people might require more love than others. Some people may require more forgiveness in their life than others. God's Word commands us to love God and to love others. But we cannot forgive or love others without the power of the Holy Spirit. And according to Mark 12:30, the power of the Holy Spirit can only be given to us by God's love for us, and placing our faith in Jesus Christ.

Well folks, I am sorry but we are out of time for today. But until next week, think about how special and precious you are to God, how that makes you feel and how YOU can use the first four “tools” in doing something great for God. And, if you are enjoying this study but would like a study book that goes along with this project, or, if you would like for me to come and present this “Project” LIVE TO YOUR GROUP which would include study books, face-to-face discussions, and an exciting Power-Point presentation that gives a visual understanding of these Godly principles, just send us a private message via our Facebook page.

I’m Dr. Robby, sharing His Word, His Work, His Way.
