Blessings family and friends on this beautiful Sunday morning in St. Cloud, Florida ... I’m preaching this Sunday on THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT ... This is PART EIGHT

I am greatly blessed to share this “Project” with you. THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT is one that God has laid upon my heart. And now, through the work of the Holy Spirit I am able to share it with you through text, and audio files. THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT is based upon the words of Jesus Christ found in Matthew 7:24 - 27 and John 20:31.

In Matthew 7:24 Jesus says, “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (NKJV) For “these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” (John 20:31 – NKJV)

For the past couple of weeks I have said that Building a successful and prosperous Smart-house includes, but is not limited to, using the right tools. And we started talking about the “HAND TOOLS”. Once again, THE HAND TOOLS ARE WHAT YOU USE IN WHAT YOU DO (and are doing) FOR GOD! Last week I spoke about THE FOURTH HAND TOOL being A PAIR OF CHANNEL LOCKS. The channel locks represents GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for us according to John 3:16; & 1 John 5:10 & 13). And now for the next hand tool you will need to have in your “spiritual toolbox”.

THE FIFTH HAND TOOL is a HAMMER. The hammer is used in form, framing and finishing work of any house that is constructed. In formwork, the hammer is used with hopes to build a form which will hold concrete. It is the concrete which forms the foundation which supports the house, in hope of its completion. In framing, a hammer is used with hopes to frame the floors, roof and walls. The floors, walls and roof are built upon the foundation, which is formed from concrete that was poured into forms which were built with a hammer with the hope of building a house. A hammer is used with hope to install the finish work, which is built upon the walls, floors and ceiling and roof, which were framed with a hammer. A hammer which was used with the hope to build forms that held the concrete which formed the foundation in hope to complete the building of a house.

For our project though, the hammer will represent HOPE. For God willed it to man to know the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY. (Colossians 1:27) So, if you have Jesus, why be cast down in your anxiety, resentment, guilt, depression, or problems, for you have the hope of God's countenance. (Psalm 42:5) And God not only created you in the womb, but gave you a plan and a future and hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

God created all things, framing them from nothing but His words. However, God forged man from the dust of the earth, and from the man, He forged the woman. God knew man would choose evil over good, breaking His law, which is sin. But according to Ephesians 3:9-11; Colossians 1:16-17; Revelation 4:11, God framed the forgiveness of sin through the work of His Son on the cross. God finished our eternal security (our promise of heaven) through the hope of Jesus Christ. It was on the cross of Calvary where a hammer was used to drive the nails that held Jesus on that cross. Jesus's blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sin. It was a hammer that built a cross, which drove the nail, which forged the way, and finished our hope in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sin and hope of heaven.

Well folks, once again we are out of time for today. But until next week, think about how special and precious you are to God, how that makes you feel and how YOU can use these “HAND TOOLS” in doing something great for God. And, if you are enjoying this study but would like a study book that goes along with this project, or, if you would like for me to come and present this “Project” LIVE TO YOUR GROUP which would include study books, face-to-face discussions, and an exciting Power-Point presentation that gives a visual understanding of these Godly principles, just send us a private message via our Facebook page.
