I’m preaching this Sunday on THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT. This is PART TWO

I am greatly blessed to share this “Project” with you. THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT is one that God has laid upon my heart, and through the work of the Holy Spirit, I have put it into text, as well as audio form and now able to share it with you. It is based upon the words of Jesus Christ found in Matthew 7:24 & 25 and John 20:31.

So, welcome back to the SMART-HOUSE PROJECT.

Last week, we ended our study by suggesting you read Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5 and chapter 1 of Ephesians. I stated that if one were to read those parts of Scripture, you will find that God is the Divine Designer who created each one of us with a specific design and purpose. And then I invited you back to learn more about God, our Divine Designer, and what your design and purpose is for life!

God has, through His great and omnipotent wisdom, given us a specific plan. It is called the Scriptures, and we know it today as the Holy Bible, or God's Word. Another way to look at it is the same as looking at the "plans" that are necessary for building a house. I call it building a "spiritual house", because everything we need to discover about whom we are, what we are, and how we are to live a peaceful, prosperous and successful life is found in the Scriptures. In other words the Scriptures, God's Word, are the "building plans" for your life! For that reason, this Ministry project is about using the right building plan to build your spiritual life. However, the questions arise, "Why the Bible?", "Why Jehovah God?" and "Why would someone choose to live a life that pleases God?" It is simply because GOD LOVES YOU!

God Loves You! HE CREATED YOU FOR A PURPOSE and had you in His mind long before you were even born into this cruel and wicked world. The purpose for this study is to help you KNOW GOD and THE WAYS OF GOD through THE WORD OF GOD, and thereby knowing His purpose for your life. The Word of God, the Scriptures, is God's plan for living your life. In other words, it is GOD’S BLUEPRINT FOR BUILDING YOUR SPIRITUAL HOUSE, and within it are the building blocks to build a Biblical Smart-House!

In a physical house, however, one cannot properly build it and legally live in it without first having a set of approved blueprints. So then, why would anyone want to live a life without following the approved "blueprints" that were drawn for his or her life? And so it is with God's Word, the Bible. In a physical house, there needs to be approved blueprints called "plans". Once the approved "plans" are signed and sealed, the house can be built. Once completed, inspected, and approved, the "Certificate of Occupancy" (the C.O.) will be issued, and then the owner may enter in. On the other hand, once one's physical life comes to an end, he or she wants to enter into their heavenly home. But, at the gate, there will stand the Divine Master Builder Jesus Christ Himself to see if the "C.O." has been issued. And if it was, then it was signed in His own blood and sealed by the Divine Architect, the Holy Spirit. It is this "C.O." one must have to enter their heavenly home.

This study will not only show how to obtain a heavenly "C.O.", but show how to live life free of anxiety, guilt, resentment, insecurity or any other “life storm” (or at least keep it at a minimum). It will also show you how to live a peaceful, prosperous, and successful life by implementing these principles. In other words, it will show how to build a "spiritual house"; a "smart-house" which secures a heavenly home and a (spiritual) home in this world that will be safe and secure from the storms of life. This study attempts to show proof of the truth of the doctrines of Scripture through the analogy of the construct of a residential dwelling. The central premise is that when one follows the plan (the Bible) using the Biblical building blocks, it will be a life that will please God. For God's Word was written that we "may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that believing ye might have life through His name" (John 20:31).

Using the building blocks of God's Word, one can build a life that pleases God. After all, it was Jesus Christ himself who said that a wise man (a smart man) builds his house upon a rock. That rock being the foundational rock which is Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:24).

So here is the plan: Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

The first key word is God. So, we begin with, "In the beginning GOD". STOP!! That's it, no more. GOD WAS THERE, ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE, without a beginning, and without an end. One cannot begin to even comprehend a perfect, infinite, and Holy God. This is especially true with a finite and imperfect human, one who has a definite beginning and end to his physical life. One is a fool who says "There is no God" (Psalm 14:1). Yet, we find Moses leading the Israelites and seeking answers from God as to where to lead them and what to do. In his inquiry, he has a concern of the people. He wants to know what to tell them when they ask who sent him and what authority he has. So God answers Moses with a simple answer in Exodus 3:14, "I AM THAT I AM". Now, you might find it interesting that God's answer in its original words and context means several things. According to Revelation 1:8, it means that GOD IS SELF-EXISTENT, DEPENDS ON NOTHING OR ANYONE OUTSIDE OF HIMSELF, HE IS ETERNAL, UNCHANGEABLE; AND ALWAYS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER. HE IS WHAT HE IS AND WHAT HE IS, WHAT HE WILL BE, AND WHAT HE WILL BE, IS WHAT HE WILL BE!

The second key word found in Genesis 1:1 is "created". In its original context, this word speaks of GOD’S CREATIVE ACTIVITY. It means that GOD CREATED SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING. If it had read that God "made" something, then he would have made it out of matter that already existed! We say we “created” something “but in reality, we have only reorganized and reshaped either matter or information that was already in existence and available”. So, this shows that God created the heavens and the earth from nothing! But there is something even more special TO HIM then the world HE created. And that SOMETHING SPECIAL is YOU. Look at what God wants you to know. It’s from Jeremiah 1:5 and it says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you!” And Psalm 139:13-16 shows us how GOD CREATED YOU IN THE WOMB!! And how special and precious you are to HIM.

Well folks, I am sorry, but we are out of time today. But until next week, think about how special and precious you are to God, and how that makes you feel. And come on back next week to learn more about God our Divine Designer, and what your design and purpose is for life! Once again, I am blessed to be able to share these wonderful insights of THE SMART-HOUSE PROJECT with you. And if you are one who would like an actual study book that goes along with this project, just sent us a note by private message on our Facebook page. Or, if you would like to have a LIVE SEMINAR FOR YOUR GROUP which would include study books, face-to-face discussions, and an exciting Power-Point presentation that gives a visual understanding of these Godly principles, once again, just send us a private message via our Facebook page.

I’m Rev, Dr. Robby; Preacher, Professor, and Author of Our Church Without Walls, sharing with you His Word, His Work, His Way.
